Is there an open source website user account program that I can have an ecommerce site and have people login?

I am trying to make a website and have the ability for people to be able to login to accounts, store credit card information, etc… is there an open source solution for this?

why not require them to use paypal. http://paypal.com
it has all of the tools you need and it is free for you and your clients. All liability is on paypal if the transactions get messed us.

Are there any open-source, tier-based blogging platforms?

Does anyone know of a blogging software or content management system (CMS) that will allow me to create tier-based memberships and then charge visitors (subscribers) according to which tier they signed up for? Or are there any plug-ins that can be integrated in Wordpress or Joomla that would allow for this functionality? I would like to run the software directly on my web server. Please no hosted solutions.

Im not very familiar with wordpress, but Joomla has multiple levels of users and editors built in. There are some extensions for joomla that allows for charging money but i don't know if there is anything that is quite what you are looking for, probably would need to have you or someone manually add people to the correct group after they pay.

Mr.Planet is augmented reality software with a simple interface for users. The
user is able to link 3D models with his favourite CAD editor (AutoCad, 3D Studio
Max,…) with a great variety of Augmented Reality (AR) patterns. This tool allows
to modify the scale, to rotate the model and to translate it in relation to the
pattern with a simple menu of options. In addition, these models also can
contain animations that will be able to reproduce from the application.
